The aristocrats of our time, in the vast and coddled bureaucracy, have spent every penny they’ve been able to confiscate from us. Now, some elected officials are attempting to use the remnants of their Constitutional Authority to choke off some of the cash flowing to them.
They, and their minions in the press, are not happy about it. They are telling us that we’re “selfish”, “racist”, “hard-hearted”, and “cretinous” for not giving them more money.
Aristocrats can’t ever have enough money. That’s why they gravitate to structures that exalt greed, power, and authority. The latter feeds the first. Now, that Congress has actually gotten in their way for a few moments, their anger is growing. Soon, it will be unleashed.
The Norwegian Murders
A few days ago, a lone Norwegian rebelled against his nation’s political establishment by doing two things. First, he blew up a huge bomb in a government center. Then, he went to a ideological summer camp attended by the children of those promulgating the policies he abhorred. There, armed as a policeman, an authority figure that all “good” leftists are trained to obey, he started killing the teen-age children of the government officials.
The awful slaughter went on for hours. The police were unable to respond, initially because the person reporting the shooting wasn’t actually being shot at. “You’ll have to get one of the children being shot at to call and make a complaint.”, she was told by the faceless bureaucrat whose incompetence was, in a way, under attack by the Island Shooter.
Then, it became obvious that the police helicopter didn’t have a flight crew to fill in for those on vacation. So, the slaughter went on.
Norwegians are not trusted to carry guns. They’re afraid of them, so they don’t think “it’s right”. So, between government incompetence and Norwegian cowardice, no one was able stop the methodical killer from shooting nearly 90 Norwegians, mostly teen-agers.
A concern: The killer obviously took a longer view of things than most. He came to the conclusion that destroying the next generation of leftist political leaders was the most effective blow he could strike. Leftists, unused to anyone but themselves believing anything intensely enough to do something that dramatic, are temporarily paralyzed. “It was a one-time, freak accident.”, they tell each other, silently adding, “Just like a lot of things that aren’t.”
Soon, their automatic reaction to everything, removing all means by which they can be attacked, will make increased cries for “gun control”.
