Jesus did what He promised:  “I come to divide.” He divided sheep from goats, wheat from weeds, and good fish from bad.

His Miracles divided believers from non-believers.  Crowds of believers saw His Miracles and followed Him.

Then, He divided those believers.  For 2,000 years, The Great Winnowing Command that Jesus repeated fourteen times has divided the obedient from the disobedient believers.

What did He say so often?  “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”

“This is hard!”, the disobedient believers said in John 6:66.  His Great Winnowing Command had divided them from His obedient believers who remained with Him.

His words divide those who value their own opinions more than obeying “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you so not have life in you.”

His obedient sheep are blessed to obey His Clear Call to Catholic Communion.  His Actual Body and Blood were provided by The Miracle of Transubstantiation at The Last Supper and every Catholic Mass that followed.

In every generation, His obedient sheep also obey His clear words about The Only Church He Founded when He said one time, to one man:

“Verily, verily I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

His obedient sheep are grateful to be on His side of The Great Divide.  “I have been blessed to be Catholic and among those of whom He said:  ‘You are My friends if you obey My commands.’

What of the disobedient believers?  They, the disobedient believers, are further divided.  Those who knowingly and willfully choose to be among the disobedient believers must face what John 3:36 makes clear:

“Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”
