The idol of pride hides behind: “In My Personal Opinion . . .”

Billions of people agree: “I believe The Bible is The Word of God. I believe Jesus did fulfill The Prophecies in The Bible. I believe that God did Take Human Form and come to earth. Jesus Christ is The Prophesied Messiah.”

~

When Jesus was on earth, He Spoke One Church Into Being with His Word:

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Demons of Pride lead many to disobey That Word of Jesus. “In My Personal Opinion, I do not believe Jesus Founded The Catholic Church. My denomination has not been led by Successors to Peter for 2,000 years. In my personal opinion, I have made the right choice!”

~

The idol of pride hides behind: “In My Personal Opinion . . .”

When we disobey Any Word of Jesus, we are worshiping the hidden idol. We have put “My Personal Opinion” before an Actual Word of He Whom we proclaim to be God!

Disobeying Any Word of God makes Pride proud! “My Personal Opinion is Truth!”

~

Business and politics are battles for Personal Opinions. Profiteers make endless appeals for the largest number of “My Personal Opinion . . .”

Many think they have created “My Personal Opinion.” In fact, “My Personal Opinion” is a changing idol. New versions of “My Personal Opinion” are continually created and sold by clever opinion-changers in sales and marketing.

~

How do opinion changers get people to change their opinions? They make this appeal to Pride!

“We can only be proud of ourselves if we are bold and brave enough to exchange our old opinions for these New And Better Opinions!”

Catholics know: “It is hard to get God’s Approval. It is easy to get approval from salespeople.”

Profiteers love Pride! What does Pride love? To get money by replacing old opinions with new ones!
