Question 1: “How can the Webb Telescope help Catholics see The Prophets?”

Answer: “This picture from The Webb Telescope lets us see This Word of The Prophets! This Catholic Reading is from Wisdom 11:22-12:2.

‘Before the LORD the whole universe is as a grain from a balance or a drop of morning dew come down upon the earth.’

~

Question 2: “What does that picture and That Word tell us about The Power that God gave His Prophets?”

Answer: “Until now, no person could see that every star in The Universe is a ‘grain of sand’ to God. That picture lets us see that God lets His Prophets see His Power!” A tiny part of ‘the whole universe is as a single grain’ of sand.”

Question 3: “Who let us see this connection?”

Answer: “A Catholic priest in jail! Fr. Gordon MacRae was given a life sentence because he would not lie in a court proceeding with big cash payments. Some people in New Hampshire wanted that money. They told Fr. MacRae: ‘If you lie and admit to a crime you did not commit, we will sentence you to less than a year in jail. If you tell the truth, we will make you spend the rest of your life in a tiny cell.

Question 4: “Did Fr. MacRae take their offer to spare himself a lifetime in confinement?”

Answer: “Father MacRae told the Truth. He has spent 29 years in a New Hampshire jail. In that time, he has learned enough to help us see The Power of God.”

Question 5: “St. Paul was also in chains. Is Father MacRae carrying on the Great Work of St. Paul?”

Answer: “Yes. Philippians 1:1-20 tells us that St. Paul’s ‘chains’ had helped him spread The Good News about Jesus. ‘My chains, in Christ, have become famous not only all over the Praetorium (agencies of Roman Government), but everywhere, and most of the brothers have taken courage in the Lord from these chains of mine and are getting more and more daring in announcing the Message without any fear.’

Question 6: “Are Truth-hating people in New Hampshire’s ‘Praetorium’ doing to Father MacRae what Nero’s Truth-hating predecessors in Rome’s ‘Praetorium’ did to St. Paul?”

Answer: “Yes.”
