“all things work together unto good.” How?

Romans 8:28 is hard!  “And we know that to them that love God, all things work together unto good.”  How?

We remember all the little baby boys killed by Herod’s attempt to eliminate Jesus.  We are reminded of God’s great Saints and Martyrs, ruthlessly killed by His enemies.  We recall the countless millions of Indians killed by Land-Grabbing Protestants.  We think of the Jews and Christians killed by neighbor-haters.  We shudder at the billions of unborn babies killed by abortion and abortion-inducing birth control.

Human history, beginning with Cain’s killing his own brother, is filled with the slaughters of the helpless.  We are overwhelmed with the difficulty of equating the killing with:  “all things work together unto good.”  How?, we ask in anguish.

An understanding comes to mind in rhyme:

“Could such immortal souls be / For God’s Immortal Infantry?”

Each innocent soul is assigned among those being assembled for the battle beyond.  At some point, the last innocent soul will tip the scales!   Then, The Final Battle will begin.

A torrent of Holy Infantry flowing in huge rivers of light!  The Crusade of Crusades!

Squad after squad!  Platoon after platoon!  Company after company!  Battalion after battalion!  Brigade after brigade!  Division after division!  Army after army!  Their billions of beings will stream out of Heaven, allied with God’s Army of Angels to Holy Victory in The Battle Beyond!

Since “all things work together unto good.”, those who “love God” see how every innocent death sends a soul to be a soldier that will help destroy those who killed it!

The Armies of God grow stronger with the destruction of each unborn baby.  They gain strength from each innocent soul added to their ranks. Each is a “perfect round stone” to kill Goliath.

Soon, we know not when, the stream of unstoppable light will descend from Heaven.  Each soul will help to erase every evil there is because “all things work together unto good”.
