This “boat” IS The Catholic Church!

How do we know that this boat, one “Barque of Peter”, is The Catholic Church?

~

Question 1: Does This Passage in John 6:16-21 tell us to be Catholic?”

Answer: “Every Passage in The Bible tells us to be Catholic! This Passage shows how His Disciples became The First Bishops in The Catholic Church.

~

Question 2: “How does it show that?”

Answer: “‘When it was evening, the disciples of Jesus went down to the sea, embarked in a boat, and went across the sea to Capernaum.’ The word ‘Capernaum’ means ‘the field of repentance and the City of Comfort’. Any ‘boat’ carrying The Disciples is known as ‘Barque of Peter’.

In the Bible, the word ‘sea’ symbolizes ‘people’. The disciples were going across the ‘sea’ of the world’s people in the ‘boat’ that would soon be The Catholic Church! Jesus sent them, and sends every Catholic, to find ‘Comfort’ by ‘repentance’.”

~

Question 3: What does this mean? ‘It had already grown dark, and Jesus had not yet come to them. The sea was stirred up because a strong wind was blowing.’

Answer: “‘It had grown dark’ because evil spirits kept people from seeing The Light of Christ that ‘had not yet come to them’. ‘The sea’ of people was being ‘stirred up’ by waves of hatred for Jesus that rolled through ‘the sea’ of people.”

~

Question 4: “Was Jesus in the boat?”

Answer. “Jesus is always ‘near’ His Church! ‘When they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and coming near the boat, and they began to be afraid.’

~

Question 5: “What were they afraid of?”

Answer: “They saw His Power before them! They were afraid of disappointing Him and losing His approval.”

~

Question 6: “What did Jesus tell them?”

Answer: “He reassured them! ‘But He said to them, ‘It is I. Do not be afraid.’

~

Question 7: “What did The Disciples do?”

Answer: “‘They wanted to take Him into the boat, but the boat immediately arrived at the shore to which they were heading.’

~

Question 8: “What does that mean?”

Answer: “Every Catholic knows! He did not need to get ‘into the boat’. As long as we follow The Instructions of Jesus, He will guide us to stay on ‘The Barque of Peter’ and get our souls to ‘The City of Comfort’. Heaven is ‘the shore’. That is where Catholics are ‘immediately heading’!”
