This Daily Reading gives Believers “A Guide to God in One Sentence”!

Joseph, Mary and Jesus are three of the billions of people guided by One, Short Sentence in The Bible.

Question 1:  “What ‘Guide to God’ does Today’s Catholic Bible Reading give us?”

Answer:  “One Holy Sentence is Every Believer’s ‘Guide to God’!  Verses 8 and 9 from Psalm 40 tell us what every Believer on earth should say to ourselves and God every day about every decision:  ‘Here I am Lord, I come to do Your will.'”

~

Question 2:  “Did God help more people to live by That Word?”

Answer:  “The Grace of God gives those who meaningfully believe in God the Guide predicted in Isaiah 7:14.  ‘Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign:  a maiden shall bear a son, and name him Emmanuel.'”

~

Question 3:  “Does Today’s Reading tell us God did that?”

Answer:   “John 1:14 is clear!   ‘The Word of God became flesh and made His dwelling among us;
and we saw His glory.'”

~

Question 4:  “Did God’s Messenger tell us who would bring God’s Guide to earth?”

Answer:  “In Luke 1:28, The Angel Gabriel tells one woman Words to this effect:  ‘Hail, Mary, full of grace, The Lord is with You.’  Then, Gabriel told Mary about God’s Plan:  ‘He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give him the throne of David His Father, and He will rule over the house of Jacob forever, and of His Kingdom there will be no end.’

Luke 1:38 tells what Mary replied to God’s Messenger:  ‘Mary said, ‘Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord.  May it be done to me according to your word.’”

~

Question 5:  “Does The Catholic Church make The Holy Connection between The Old and New Testaments that God gave to us?”

Answer:  “From The Psalms of David to Mary, Joseph, Her Son, all Catholics priests and religious, and all people who believe meaningfully in God have said the same wonderful words:

‘Here I am, Lord.  I come to do your will.'”

~

Question 6:  “What sets Catholic people apart?”

Answer:  “Catholics show God we are doing His Will by obeying The Church-Creating Word of His Son:  ‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.'”

~

Question 7:  “What does every Catholic gain by having our life tell God:  ‘Here I am Lord, I come to do Your Will.’?

Answer:  “God gives this Great Gift to those in His Church:  ‘I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.'”

~

May all be blessed to get those “keys”!

Our newest Free Book does not compare with St. Faustina’s, but some find it interesting:
