This Psalm tells Catholics how much God has blessed US! #24.

Catholic tears turn into rejoicing when we realize how blessed we are!

~

Question 1: “How does Todays Psalm help Catholics see how much God has blessed us are?”

Answer: “2,500 years ago, King Darius ruled the Persian Empire, the largest in the world. Around 520 BC, he empowered the Jewish people to rebuild God’s Temple in Jerusalem.”

~

Question 2: “Did the newly returned Jewish people build God’s Temple as soon as they could?”

Answer: “No! Haggai 1-8 tells us that many Jewish people were more interested in building their own homes, farms, and businesses. They told God: ‘The time has not yet come to rebuild the house of The Lord.’

The Prophet Haggai asked them The Hard Question that God asks every person on earth: ‘Is it time for you to dwell in your own paneled houses, while God’s House lies in ruins?’

Question 3: “Did the Jewish people start to build ‘God’s House’?”

Answer: “That is why Psalm 149:4 tells us ‘The Lord takes delight in His people.’ They did His Will and rebuilt The Temple.”

~

Question 4: “Why is that ancient lesson about serving God instead of ourselves a special blessing to Catholics?”

Answer: “Catholics respond to That Passage by saying ‘Alleluia! Alleluia!’ because we have ‘come to The Father’ in The Only Church Spoken Into Being by This Word of His Son:

‘And I say unto you, thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’

John 14:6 makes The Catholic Connection with History and The Psalms: I am the way and the truth and the life, says The Lord; no one comes to The Father except through Me.

~

Question 5: “Why are Catholics so happily grateful?”

Answer: “We know that our immortal soul has come to The Father through The Son because we are among: ‘You are My friends if you obey My commands.’

~

Question 6: “How does that connect to obedient Jewish people re-building The Temple in Jerusalem, 2,500 years ago?”

Answer: “Catholic minds and souls become Living Temples to God with The Life-Giving Food that He empowered His Catholic priests to provide by His Miracle of Transubstantiation and told us 14 times to receive!

‘If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.'”

~

Catholics know! Obedience to God blesses us to be “Living Temples to God.”
