The Psalms tell us of Angels. So do Daniel and The Book of Revelation. #25.

Angels have been here. Angels are here. Angels are coming soon!

~

Question 1: “Why does The Church and The Bible She provided tell us so much about angels?”

Answer: “Angels are important! Today’s Reading concerns The Archangels Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael.”

~

Question 2: “Why are they so important?”

Answer: “They drove the disobedient angels out of Heaven and threw them down to earth.”

~

Question 3: “Why?”

Answer: “God may have said: ‘The only good these fallen angels can do is show Me which people on earth want to save their souls by obeying Me.’ The Battle is described in Rev 12:7-12.

‘War broke out in heaven; Michael and his angels battled against the dragon. The dragon and its angels fought back, but they did not prevail and there was no longer any place for them in heaven.
The huge dragon, the ancient serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan, who deceived the whole world, was thrown down to earth, and its angels were thrown down with it.

Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have salvation and power come, and the Kingdom of our God and the authority of his Anointed.
For the accuser of our brothers is cast out, who accuses them before our God day and night.
They conquered him by the Blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; love for life did not deter them from death.
Therefore, rejoice, you heavens, and you who dwell in them.”

Question 4: “Did God then come to earth and defeat evil?”

Answer: “The Second Person of The Holy Trinity took Human Form in The Person of Jesus Christ. Daniel 7:9-10, 13-14 tells us what happened when He returned to Heaven with The Authority His Obedience had given Him!

‘I saw One like a son of man coming, on the clouds of heaven; When He reached the Ancient One and was presented before Him, He received dominion, glory, and kingship; nations and peoples of every language serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that shall not be taken away, His Kingship shall not be destroyed.’

~

Question 5: “Does His ‘everlasting dominion’ include The One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church He Spoke Into Being on earth with His Word? ‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’?”

Answer: “Yes. That is why Catholics honor This Word from Psalm 138:1-5: “In the sight of the angels I will sing your praises, Lord.”‘”

~

Catholics know Two Things:

1. When we praise God on Earth by honoring His Words enough to be Catholic, we are “In The sight of the angels”!

2. Angels cannot help us if we let the devil keep us from seeing them!
