Exodus 17:3-7 contains this “Hidden Prophecy”! “In those days, in their thirst for water, the people grumbled against Moses.” For the next 3,500 years, people would “grumble” against God when they felt they needed more. As Psalm 95:1-9 tells us, “If today you hear His Voice, harden not your hearts.”
That is a “Hidden Prophecy” of how many would “harden their hearts” even after they saw how God let Moses “strike the earth at Meribah and have water flow from the rock.”
2,000 years ago, He who Fulfilled the Messianic Prophecies came to earth. Many “hardened their hearts” against The Church-Creating Word He Spoke to His First Catholic Pope: “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”
To this day, Catholics follow another “Hidden Prophecy” in Today’s Reading from The Psalms, 95: 1-8. Verse 6-7: “let us kneel before the LORD Who made us. For He is our God, and we are the people He shepherds, the flock He guides.” Catholics still have kneelers in our churches because we are blessed to heed that “Hidden Prophecy” and be among those blessed to “kneel before Him”!
The reward for being Catholic and heeding the “Hidden Prophecies” is clear in Romans 5: 1-2, 5-8. “Brothers and sisters: Since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through Whom we have gained access by faith…” That “Hidden Prophesy” tells us of Catholic Sacraments that include Confession and Communion!
At every Catholic Mass for the past 2,000 years, Catholics are blessed to be living connections between the Old Testament and the New. Every Catholic is a Living Proof that we have “gained the faith” that lets us “kneel before Him!”

Today’s Simple Rhyme: “Every Catholic Mass reveals / Those who love God enough to kneel.”
