Today, Judah is The Roman Catholic Church.

Before Christ, the Twelve Tribes were divided. The Ten Northern Tribes ruled the north of Israel. Judah and Benjamin reigned in the South. Judah was the leading house. The tribes in the North, while they followed some of the ancient laws, gradually became apostate. They fell into idol worship and followed strange gods.

Judah was faithful.

Daniel 13: 56-60 clearly shows the difference between the people, specifically the women, of Judah and those of the Northern Tribes. He makes it clear that God’s punishment awaits:

Daniel said to him, “Offspring of Canaan, not of Judah, beauty has seduced you, lust has subverted your conscience. This is how you acted with the daughters of Israel, and in their fear they yielded to you; but a daughter of Judah did not tolerate your wickedness. Now, then, tell me under what tree you surprised them together.” “Under an oak,” he said. Daniel replied, “Your fine lie has cost you also your head, for the angel of God waits with a sword to cut you in two so as to make an end of you both.”

It is clear that Daniel believed the women of Judah to be more faithful than the women of the other tribes.

The parallel is clear. Today, Judah is The Roman Catholic Church. She is faithful and pure, not deviating from the ancient teaching. Those separated from Her have become, in varying degrees, unbelievers, afraid to fight the sins of Canaan.

While the Northern Tribes had some similarities with Judah. In every age, they believe themselves to be every bit as good as the more faithful and obedient Judah, they never are, and the Prophet knew it.

Today, many in the modern “Northern Tribes” ignore the very words of Christ, beginning with “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.” In the midst of that unbelief, they still proclaim that they are believers. Their weakness is that of the Northern Tribes when confronted with the evil.

Daniel is clear: the Israelites gave in to the evil of the Canaanites and the woman of Judah did not. Those who separate themselves from Judah today, The Roman Catholic Church, are, like the Northern Tribes, washed away. They are destroyed the sins of birth control, rampant divorce, fornication, and abortion.

God’s Laws still operate. His Garden is continually weeded and pruned. Those who separate themselves from Judah today, The Roman Catholic Church, are still taken away by the Canaanite sins that surround us. The modern version of the Northern Tribes are afraid to renounce birth control, rampant divorce, fornication, and abortion.

The Catholic Church, like Judah of old, stands firmly. We may listen and learn from the Prophet Daniel.
