May all be blessed to be forever among "You are My friends if you obey My commands." by being as Catholic as we can.

Today’s Reading begins with Baruch 1:15-22.  He divides every person on earth for the past 4,000 years into two groups!

“From the time the Lord led our ancestors out of the land of Egypt until the present day, we have been disobedient to The Lord, our God, and only too ready to disregard His voice.”

The results of disobeying God are clear!

“And the evils and the curse that the Lord enjoined upon Moses, His servant, at the time he led our ancestors forth from the land of Egypt to give us the land flowing with milk and honey, cling to us even today.”

Then, Baruch explains that evils fall upon us when we are among the disobedient!

“For we did not heed the voice of The Lord, our God, in all the words of the prophets whom He sent us, but each one of us went off after the devices of his own wicked heart, served other gods, and did evil in the sight of The Lord, our God.”

Catholics are blessed!  We follow God’s Advice from The Prophecy of Psalm 79:1-9 that predicts the coming ruin of Jerusalem in 70 AD and describes the disobedient who “have defiled your holy temple, laid Jerusalem in ruins, given us the corpses of your servants as food to the birds and beast, making us the reproach of our neighbors while there is no one to bury them” and tells us to seek God’s forgiveness by pleading: “For the Glory of Your Name, O Lord, deliver us.”

That leads Catholics to take Today’s “Alleluia” to heart!  “If today you hear His Voice, harden not your hearts.”

May every heart be open to what He Who Fulfilled over 300 Prophecies is telling us about what must come to those who disobey Him in Luke 10:13-16!

“Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida!  For if the mighty deeds done in your midst had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would long ago have repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the Judgment than for you.”  Those who would disobey His Words in Capernaum were promised:  You will go down to the netherworld.”

Catholics escape that awful, eternal fate by obeying He Who Spoke One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church into Being with His Church-Creating Word to His First Catholic Pope:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”.  He Who Fulfilled over 300 Prophecies told each and every person on earth to listen to His Catholic priests and religious who are Ordained in Unbroken Links with Peter and the First Catholic Bishops!

Whoever listens to you listens to Me.  Whoever rejects you rejects Me.  And, whoever rejects me rejects The One Who sent Me.” (Luke 10:16)

Those who most meaningfully respect He Who Fulfilled over 300 Prophecies are grateful to have been blessed to fall to our knees and Be Catholic!
