Question 1: “Does Today’s Catholic Reading tell us it is ‘not smart’ to be a ‘lapsed Catholic’?”
Answer: “The great Catholic Evangelist, St. Paul, went to Galatia, a huge area of central Turkey, and led many Galatians to be Catholic.”
~
Question 2: “Who were the ‘Galatians’?”
Answer: “People from Gaul, in Western Europe. The Galatians were a brilliant people who had once sacked Rome! Then, they conquered the area North of Greece. After that, they seized much of central Turkey. 250 years later, St. Paul led many Galatians to be among The First Catholic Tribes in Asia by bringing many into The Church Spoken Into Being by This Word of Jesus to The First Catholic Pope: ‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’”

Question 3: “Did the Galatians stay Catholic?”
Answer: ” Willful Protestants in Galatia hated Catholic Teaching that made Faith in Every Word of Jesus more important than their desires. They led some to be the first ‘lapsed Catholics’ in Asia.”
~
Question 4: “What did St. Paul tell us about ‘lapsed Catholics’ in Galatia and every time and place?”
Answer: “In Galatians 3:1-5, St. Paul gives us The Bible’s Opinion of ‘lapsed Catholics’! ‘O stupid Galatians!’ Then, he asked them:
‘Who has bewitched you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified?’ Then, St. Paul demands to know: ‘I want to learn only this from you: did you receive The Spirit from works of the law, or from faith in what you heard?’”
Then, St. Paul uses the word ‘stupid’ to describe ‘lapsed Catholics’ of every Age for the second time! ‘Are you so stupid? After beginning with the Spirit, are you now ending with the flesh?’”

Question 5: “What do Catholics encourage our beloved neighbors to do if they are ‘lapsed Catholics’?”
Answer: “We plead with them: ‘Please, be smart enough to let your precious, immortal soul have the only ‘keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’ that Jesus Christ gave His Life to leave to The First Catholic Pope!”

Catholics pray to God: “May no one go to Your Final Judgment as a “Catholic” who has “lapsed”. May all remember Today’s Reading from Luke 1:69, “He has raised up a horn for our salvation within the House of David, His servant.”
Catholics pray that the Word of Acts 26:14 which is also in Today’s Catholic Reading will be meaningful in the mind of every ‘lapsed Catholic’: “Open our hearts, O Lord, to listen to the Words of Your Son.”
