Genesis 2:7-9 and 3:1-7 tell us “The LORD God formed man out of the clay of the ground and blew into his nostrils the breath of life, and so man became a living being.” Catholics are blessed to see that The Loving Programmer had Downloaded the first of His beloved “Replicating Free-Will Programs”.
Human History continued. “Then, the LORD God planted a garden in Eden, in the east, and placed there the man whom He had formed. Out of the ground the LORD God made various trees grow that were delightful to look at and good for food, with the tree of life in the middle of the garden and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.”
Then, The Loving Programmer upgraded the Adam Program and downloaded Eve from “Adam’s rib”. His beloved “Replicating Free Will Programs” could have children.
“Now, the serpent was the most cunning of all the animals that the LORD God had made (Programmed and Downloaded).” The serpent asked the woman, ‘Did God really tell you not to eat from any of the trees in the garden?’
“The woman answered the serpent: ‘We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden; it is only about the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden that God said, ‘You shall not eat it or even touch it, lest you die.'”
“But the serpent (the living error of willful disobedience) said to the woman: ‘You certainly shall not die! No, God knows well that the moment you eat of it, your eyes will be opened and you will be like gods who know what is good and what is evil.”
Catholic Teaching about Free Will began! “The woman saw that the tree was good for food, pleasing to the eyes, and desirable for gaining wisdom. So, she took some of its fruit and ate it; and she also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.”
After The Creation Program had been in operation for over 13 trillion light-years, Protestantism began on earth!
Catholics can see and date when ancient arrowheads were made. We realize that the first appearance of God, Adam, Eve, and the serpent in The Garden of Eden may have taken place 3-4,000,000 years ago. Now, on the First Sunday of Lent, may all be blessed to find our place in The Loving Programmer’s vast Creation Program and see that all exists to help us obey The Church-Creating Word that He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies Spoke to His First Catholic Pope and get “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” for our immortal soul:
“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”
On the First Sunday of Lent, Catholics see how that fulfills The Prophecy of God’s First Spoken Word: “Let there be light; and there was light.“
