Today’s Prophecy is “Not Hidden” from Catholics! #41.

Today's First Prophecy takes us from the birthplace of Jesus to HIS Prophecy about WHO would get INTO Heaven and WHO would NOT:

Today’s First Prophecy was recorded in 1 Samuel 16:1 when “The LORD said to Samuel:  ‘Fill your horn with oil, and be on your way.  I am sending you to Jesse of Bethlehem, for I have chosen My King from among his sons.”

That Prophesied that Bethlehem would be the birthplace of Jesus, 1,000 years later.

For 3,000 years, God’s People have been following the Prophecy repeated in David’s Psalm 23: 1-6, “The LORD is my shepherd;  I shall not want… He refreshes my soul… He guides me in right paths… my cup overflows… Only goodness and kindness follow me all the days of my life;  and I shall dwell in the House of The LORD for years to come.”   That is a Prophecy of God’s Followers who are blessed to get their immortal souls into Heaven for all the “years to come”.

Ephesians 5:8-14 gives more Prophecies from St. Paul describing those whose souls will get into Heaven:  “Brothers and sisters:  You were once in darkness, but now you are light in the Lord… Live as children of light, for light produces every kind of goodness…  Try to learn what is pleasing to The Lord…  Take no part in the fruitless works of darkness; rather expose them…  ‘Awake O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light.”

Preceding and following Prophecies are Fulfilled in John 8:12, “‘I am the light of the world.’, says The Lord;  ‘whoever follows Me will have the light of life.'”

John 9:1-41 contains many Prophecies.  They end with a prophecy about those who love their place in life more than they love God, and tells how they always react to Jesus’s healing miracles!  They hated “the blind man” for telling people that Jesus cured the blindness with which he was born.

Jesus used the Healing Miracle that all had seen to give us This  Prophecy, and may it guide us all!  “I came into this world for Judgment, so that those who do not see might see, and those who do see might become blind.’

“Some of the Pharisees who were with Him heard this and said to Him, ‘Surely we are not also blind, are we?’

“Jesus said to them, ”If you were blind, you would have no sin;  but now you are saying ‘We see.’, so your sin remains.”

May all be blessed to read and heed That Prophecy!
