Updating Iron Age words helps computer users understand Jesus better than at any time in history.

Catholic Fundamentalism, the New Evangelization, recognizes that modern vocabularies have separated us from the Iron Age roots of our faith.  That’s why we begin by updating the Iron Age vocabulary that’s alien to computer-using generations.

We see the Trinity as being comprised of The Loving Programmer, The Program, and Holy Wireless Connector.

The Second Person of the Trinity was beautifully described by St. Paul, but in a way that is utterly mystifying to moderns, is updated.  That Iron Age description is taken from Today’s Reading, 2 Col 1:12-29:

Brothers and sisters:
Let us give thanks to the Father,
who has made you fit to share
in the inheritance of the holy ones in light.
He delivered us from the power of darkness
and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son,
in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

He is the image of the invisible God (The Loving Programmer),
the firstborn of all creation.
For in him were created (programmed) all things in heaven and on earth,
the visible and the invisible,
whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers;
all things were created (programmed) through him and for him.
He is before all things,
and in him all things (sub-programs) hold together.
He is the head of the body, the church.
He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead,
that in all things (sub-programs) he himself might be preeminent.
For in him (The Program) all the fullness was pleased to dwell,
and through him to reconcile all things for him,
making peace by the blood of his cross
through him, whether those on earth or those in heaven.

We respectfully suggest that passage is far more easily understood when a young computer user describes The Son as “The Program”.  “The Program” was written and downloaded from the beginning.  “The Program” includes “all things which are visible and invisible”.   The sub-programs are the electrons, atoms, minerals, and energies that make up The Creation Program.  All the sub-programs are within The Program.

The Program took human form and came among us, a Sacrificial Lamb, born of The Virgin, Fulfillment of Prophecies.  The Program was able, at the price of being painfully erased, to remove the errors in our own smaller programs, lovingly written and downloaded in His Image, but reduced in every way.

The Program is perfect, immune to corruption and error.  The Program does not diminish in any way.

Catholic Fundamentalism sees The Program as having given us beloved human programs instructions so that our souls, the organizing program around which our spirit, mind, and body were downloaded, may be uploaded to a joyful eternity within The Program.

To do achieve that endless joy, we must follow the operating instructions.  Jesus, The Program in human form, calls them His “least commandments”.  They tell us to receive Communion in The Catholic Church (“If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood, you do not have life in you.”) and they guide us throughout our lives.

We do not want to download error and have it corrupt our system.  If we do, we are, without Confession and Absolution, lost.
