Vanity is a dangerous “body part” that keeps many from Heaven. #61.

“The Master” is inviting us to His “Heavenly Banquet”. May all gratefully accept His invitation!

~

Question 1: “How does the ‘body part’ of our brain that is vanity keep many souls from Heaven?”

Answer: “Lk 14:15-24 explains: ‘One of those at table with Jesus said to him, ‘Blessed is the one who will dine in the Kingdom of God.’ Jesus told him who would do so! ‘He replied to him, ‘A man gave a great dinner to which he invited many. When the time for the dinner came, he dispatched his servant to say to those invited, ‘Come, everything is now ready.’

~

Question 2: “What does that mean?”

Answer: “The Prophecies had been fulfilled! Jesus was inviting everyone to Heaven! ‘But one by one, they (those in the Tribes of Judah and Benjamin) all began to excuse themselves.’

Some had made purchases like oxen and land. Another was just married. They asked to be ‘excused’ from The Heavenly Banquet. The Master was so ‘enraged’ that he told his servant to ‘Go out quickly into the streets and alleys of the town
and bring in here the poor and the crippled, the blind and the lame.’

Question 3: “Who were they?”

Answer: “They were peoples from nearby places, languages, and nations. Jesus was inviting them into ‘The Heavenly Banquet’.”

~

Question 3: “Was The Banquet Hall full?”

Answer: “No! ‘The servant reported, ‘Sir, your orders have been carried out and still there is room.’ The Master then ordered the servant, ‘Go out to the highways and hedgerows and make people come in that my home may be filled. For, I tell you, none of those men who were invited will taste my dinner.’

Question 4: “The Tribes of Judah and Benjamin were the first group to be ‘invited’. Do those who refuse The Invitation of Jesus to The Heavenly Banquet have any chance of getting into Heaven?”

Answer: “May all be blessed to Think Clearly about Who Jesus Is and where to find Him.”
