What is the 9th silly thing some Protestants say?

Catholics have heard the usual reasons that Protestants have for disrespecting and disobeying Jesus. They all disobey The Church-Founding Word with Which Jesus Spoke The Only Church He Founded Into Being!

This Word of Jesus is not good enough for them to obey:

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

The Profiteers of Protestantism know they need excuses for disobeying Jesus. What is the 9th silly thing some Protestants say?

They solemnly announce: “Peter was married.”

Why do they say that?

The Profiteers of Protestantism are mostly married. They all know that Catholic priests are required to live as Jesus did. They are expected to be celibate. If they can show that Jesus picked a married man to lead The Only Church He Founded, they can claim credibility.

That is why they repeat: “Since Peter had a Mother-in-Law, he must have been married!”

No Protestant wants to admit: “Peter’s wife is never mentioned in The New Testament. That indicates that she had died. Peter was a good and decent man who took care of his dead wife’s mother.”

2.

Protestants often justify inventing their own denominations by saying one other thing about Peter:

“Peter disobeyed Jesus three times! Jesus said to Peter: ‘Get thee behind Me, Satan!’

That is a vicious insult to Jesus. What those Protestants are really saying is: “Jesus was not smart enough to know of Peter’s faults!”

Catholics all agree: “Peter did have faults. Still, out of the hundred billion or more people who have ever lived, Jesus picked Peter! He said to that one person:

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Catholics believe that Jesus is always right.

Therefore, Catholics correctly conclude: “Anyone who disagrees with Jesus is automatically wrong.”

History proves that Catholics are correct. For 2,000 years, Successors to Peter have been in charge of The Only Church He Spoke Into Being.
