Question 1: “Why is Pride ‘The Deadliest of The Seven Deadly Sins’?”
Answer: “Pride led Eve to bring the Curse of Original Sin upon her, Adam, and her children.”

Question 2: “How did Eve show that she put Pride ‘before’ God?”
Answer: “Eve decided to ‘eat the forbidden fruit’. She insulted The Goodness of God with this Pride: ‘God, I know more than You do about what is good for me.’ Demons of Pride lead many to insult God by choosing to reject His Teachings.”

Question 3: “Could Eve have chosen to obey God?”
Answer: “Eve had free will. So did Adam. So did the serpent. Pride led all three of them to repeat the same insult: ‘God, I know more than You do about what is good for me.’”

Question 4: “Is Willful Disobedience to Any Word of God an insult to Him?”
Answer: “Yes.”

Question 5: “How can we tell if we are being driven by Pride?”
Answer: “When we want to disobey Any Teaching from God, an alarm should go off in our mind! ‘Pride is tempting me to insult God by telling Him that I know more than He does about what is good for me.’”

Question 6: “Can every person Think Clearly enough to avoid insulting He Who will Judge our soul?”
Answer: “The demons of Pride hate for us to Think Clearly! They confuse our words, languages, and thoughts.”

Question 7: “What should we do when we know that Pride has led us to insult God with a sin?”
Answer: “Catholics are given the best thing we can do! Our Catholic priests are given This Power by God in John 15:14: ‘Those whose sins you forgive on earth are forgiven in Heaven.’ We confess our sins to our priest and may be given Absolution, here and at God’s Final Judgment of our soul.”

Question 8: “Does God have The Power to Speak such a Church and holy priesthood into Being?”
Answer: “We insult God if we believe He could not have done that with His Word! ‘And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys of The Kingdom of Heaven.’”
One of Christ’s ‘keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’ is to receive Absolution from a Catholic priest. The ‘deadliest sin’ we can commit is letting Pride keep our immortal soul from that ‘key to The Kingdom of Heaven’.”
