Without belief and obedience, our souls are lost.

Many people leave The Church because they are separated from Her teachings.  She is, for instance, very firm on remarriage without having had any previ0us marriage annulled.  The Church believes that sex outside of a valid marriage is improper.  As a result, Catholics often find themselves in relationships that keep them from receiving the Sacraments.

The other side attacks that opening.  “The Church doesn’t care about you.  Now, when you need Church the most, they say:  ‘We’re very sorry, but you cannot receive Communion while you are in an illicit relationship.’   Who are they to tell you that you are doing something wrong?  Who are they to judge?  Just forget them.  Your responsibility is to you, so you should do what you feel is best.”

Many do not see through such temptations.  Blinded by a growing distance from the light, they are kept from seeing that such thoughts are living errors, demons, trying to separate human souls from The Loving Programmer.  When they are successful, self-worship quickly follows.

We may save our souls through belief and obedience.  That is the only way we may do so.  The more fully we believe and obey, the more likely it is that we will spend eternity in Heaven.

Since nothing else matters as much as where our souls spend eternity,  We must recognize where the Church’s rules originated.  Then, we must strive to obey them.  Without belief and obedience, our souls are lost.
