State-controlled institutions have been anti-Catholic since the days of Nero. State-supported academia and media still revile The Church for “selling indulgences”. Four hundred years ago, when “indulgence selling” took place, the 400 pound King of England, Henry Big Pig, married and divorced several women.
Several times, Big Pig had his executioner cut the heads off of his former wives. The eighth Henry also had loyal Catholics murdered if they would not embrace the new denomination that he headed.
Some are able to compare the two issues rationally. They ask: Is “selling indulgences” for a few decades to finance the replacement of the Vatican’s deteriorating earlier building, erected by Constantine over a thousand years previously, as immoral as Henry Big Pig cutting off the heads of the women who’d begun to bore him?
Is it rational to believe that Martin Luther did something good by protesting the “selling of indulgences” when Big Pig used Luther’s “protests” to justify breaking away from The Catholic Church, stealing its land, and killing those who disagreed with him?
Amazingly, in some anti-Catholic minds, both Martin Luther and Big Pig are morally superior beings. The former broke the vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience that he voluntarily took as an Augustinian monk. He spent the rest of his life attacking The Church for disagreeing with him. Henry Big Pig, and other people in power, used the thoughts and actions of Martin Luther to justify murder and theft.
Now, four hundred years later, what has been the result of Martin Luther and Big Pig? A thousand years of Catholicism was replaced by what are now 34,000 identifiable Protestant denominations, some no bigger than one or two “independent” churches. As a result of all the conflicts within Christianity, sin is stronger than ever.
Since Luther and Big Pig began separating Europe from The Church, profligacy, artificial birth control, and abortion have replaced Catholic ideals of chastity, modesty, and fidelity. Today, leaders of Luther’s and Big Pig’s nations have been heavily bribed to allow Moslem immigrants to invade their lands. Their invasion has made huge areas unsafe for the once-Christian peoples. Powerful Protestants began by “cleansing Christianity from the horrors of indulgence selling”. Today, their spiritual descendants help the sons of Ishmael exterminate the descendants of the once Catholic people.
Now, four hundred years later, what has been the result of Protestant Deformers, Martin Luther and Big Pig? The scourge of God is falling.
Outside The Church, few want, or are able, to understand the damage done by Martin Luther, Big Pig, and the other Protestant Deformers.
Those who justify their own separation from The Catholic Church by thinking that “selling indulgences is worse than abortion” engage in one of the most insane thought processes in history. Even the most enlightened feminists of our age will not criticize Big Pig, or Luther’s justifying theology, for having murdered his wives.
That is how desperate many are to escape the light burdens and easy yoke that The Catholic Church urges us to adopt as we travel from here to Judgment.
