Whose souls go to Heaven? Catholics know! #13.

God Spoke The Universe into Being to give us free will.  May all be blessed to choose to be Catholic.

~

Question 1:  “Who does get their souls into Heaven?”

Answer:  “Today’s Reading tells us!   John 11:25-26 tells us:  ‘I am the resurrection and the life, says The Lord;  whoever believes in Me will never die.’

~

Question 2:  “Does everyone who ‘believes’ in Jesus go to Heaven?”

Answer:  “John 5:17-30 includes:  ‘For just as the Father raises the dead and gives life, so also does the Son give life to whomever He wishes.’

~

Question 3:  “Who decides if our soul will get into Heaven?”

Answer:  “‘Nor does the Father judge anyone, but He has given all judgment to the Son, so that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father.’

~

Question 4:  “What happens to the souls of those who do not ‘honor the Son’ in their days on earth before they go to His “judgment’?

Answer:  “‘Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor The Father Who sent Him.

~

Question 5:  “Did Jesus tell us we should ‘honor The Son and The Father Who sent Him’?”

Answer:  “Jesus made that clear!  ‘Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever hears My word and believes in The One Who sent Me has eternal life and will not come to condemnation, but has passed from death to life.’

Then, Jesus made it clearer! “‘Amen, amen, I say to you, the hour is coming and is now here when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.’

~

Question 6:  “How can people who are ‘dead’ be able to hear ‘the voice of The Son of God’?”

Answer:  “‘Do not be amazed at this because the hour is coming in which all who are in the tombs will hear His voice and will come out.  Those who have done good deeds will go to the resurrection of life, but those who have done wicked deeds will go to the resurrection of condemnation.’

~

Question 7:  “Will that happen on Judgment Day?”

Answer:  “Yes.”

~

Question 8:  “Whose souls will be saved?”

Answer:  “Those who are among the people Jesus described in John 15:14 will be saved:  ‘You are My friends if you obey My commands.’

~

Question 9:  “Are Catholics more likely to be among His ‘obedient friends’?”

Answer:  “Catholics have most meaningfully obeyed The Church-Creating Command with which Jesus Spoke One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church Into Being!  ‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.’

~

Question 10:  “What do Catholics gain by obeying That Word of Jesus?”

Answer:  “Jesus made This Promise to those who obey His Church-Creating Command:  ‘I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’

~

The soul of every person who ever lived will stand before Jesus on Judgment Day.  May all be blessed to have chosen to live our lives on earth so that we are among His ‘obedient friends’.”
