The only reason to not think about Mary is that we’d rather think about ourselves.  When we think about Mary, we find an escape from our vanity.

When we think about Mary, we are led to think about God.  When we think about God and Mary, we have to think about why, and how, He came among us.  We see that Jesus could not have come to earth without Mary’s agreement.  When we think about Mary, we realize that we could not be saved if she had not said “Yes.”

Without Mary, the world would be a dark and gloomy place.  Without Mary, we would all be living in something between the giant prison camp of North Korea and a depraved harem.

When we don’t think about Mary, we are not thinking about the fulness of forgiveness, and the Eucharist to which it leads, and asking for her to help us get into Heaven.  When we don’t think about Mary, we simply can’t think properly.

So, think about Mary.
