Protestants prefer St. Paul to St. Peter. They have been told “St. Paul was the first Protestant and he stood up to Peter, the first Pope. We must follow Paul’s example, and stand up to The Catholic Church.”

St. Paul was not a Protestant. He was a Catholic priest/Bishop and says so in 1 Cor. 10:16. “The cup of benediction that we bless is it not a participation in the Blood of Christ. The bread that we break is it not a participation in the Body of Christ.”

St. Paul was a loyal Catholic who taught “keep the traditions that we taught you, whether by word of mouth or by letter”, 2 Thes. 2:15. St. Paul was not the “First Protestant”, but a loyal Catholic.

Every Protestant who says “I believe in The Bible!” should believe Gal. 5, 16-22  “. . self indulgence is the opposite of The Spirit . . . When self-indulgence is at work the results are obvious: fornication, gross indecency, and sexual irresponsibility, disagreements, factions, envy, drunkenness, orgies and similar things. I warn you now, as I warned you before, those who behave like this will not inherit the Kingdom of God.”

Protestants ignore the word “factions“! They say they love St. Paul for “standing up to Peter”, but they ignore his condemnation of the self-indulgence when it appears in their own, beloved “faction”.

St. Paul puts those in “factions” in the same class with fornicators, the grossly indecent, the sexually irresponsible, the disagreeing, the envious, drunkards, and those who participate in orgies. Those in Protestantism’s factions don’t even notice!  We begin to see how bizarre this is!   “I believe in Jesus and The Bible.  I am in a faction.  The Bible says that being in a faction is on a par with being a drunken fornicator. Still, I am going to stay in my faction! And, I will continue to say ‘I believe in Jesus and The Bible!'”

Any person in a “faction” is being told by St. Paul that he or she “will not inherit The Kingdom of God”.  Compounding that lunacy, those in Protestant factions give money to the very people who are keeping them out of Heaven!

Catholics are blessed to be freed from the swirling contradictions.  It’s our choice. Sanity or lunacy?
