Catholics are blessed.  First, faith.  Then, obedience.

Catholics begin at the beginning.   Against astronomical odds, Jesus was born, lived, and died.  He fulfilled hundreds of very specific prophecies.

Jesus was very direct about The Only Church He Founded:  “Truthfully, truthfully, I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Jesus repeated, fourteen times, “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”  Catholics obey Christ’s Clear Call to Catholic Communion.

Before that, we confess our sins to those ordained in living link with those to whom He said:  “Those whose sins you forgive on earth are forgiven in Heaven.”

Then, after the Holy Absolution, we may more worthily receive His Actual Body and Blood.

Those who do not obey are denied that consistency of faith and obedience.

Our Protestant neighbors have bits and pieces of Catholic thinking.  That is not enough.

All who say “I believe in Jesus and The Bible.” live in contradictions if they willfully avoid The Only Church Jesus Founded.

The results of such contradiction are clear.  When Catholic Teaching on divorce is avoided, families are destroyed.  Children in broken homes never do as well.  They are prone to destruction by drugs and sin.

Many in Protestantism live in the greatest contradiction of all:  “You can ‘love your neighbor’ and still use abortion-inducing birth control.”  Billions of unborn babies have died from that awful contradiction.

Faith that leads to disobedience leads to such evils.  The confusing contradictions begin when a person says, “I believe in Jesus, but I avoid The Only Church He Founded because it has teachings I do not like.”

First, faith.  Then obedience.  Catholics are blessed with both.
