Matthew 23:27-32 shows us how to see the “scribes and Pharisees” in Protestantism. Jesus describes those who knowingly support denominations whose leaders are too afraid of losing members to clearly condemn abortion and abortion-inducing birth control.
“Jesus said, ‘Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites. You are like whitewashed tombs, which appear beautiful on the outside, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and every kind of filth.
Even so, on the outside you appear righteous, but inside you are filled with hypocrisy and evildoing.’”
True Christians agree with Jesus! Those who are afraid to condemn abortion and abortion-inducing birth control are “full of dead men’s bones”.
Even as they “appear righteous”, they are silent while billions of unborn children, barely bigger than a grain of salt, are killed. The “scribes and Pharisees” of Protestantism praise themselves while not denouncing death. They are “filled with hypocrisy and evildoing.
Then, Jesus condemns them, again:
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites. You build the tombs of the prophets and adorn the memorials of the righteous, and you say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our ancestors, we would not have joined them in shedding the prophets’ blood.’
Thus you bear witness against yourselves that you are the children of those who murdered the prophets; now fill up what your ancestors measured out!”
Twice, Jesus curses those who “join in shedding the prophets’ blood”, by being unable to condemn killing billions of unborn babies. Many of the lost would have grown to be holy men and women. Their “blood” has been shed. Those who did not, and do not, condemn the killing are headed for an eternity of “woe”.

Best to be Catholic, or, at the very least, embrace Catholic teaching enough to avoid being among the “scribes and Pharisees” in Protestantism by supporting them.
