Self-serving men confuse the words of Jesus. We must look, phrase by phrase, to see how The Profiteers of Protestantism confuse The Only Church-Founding Decree of Jesus:

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

1. “And I say unto you. . .” Protestants ignore the fact that it is Jesus Christ Who Decrees The Only Church He Founded Into Being. They disregard His Decree while calling themselves “Christian”.

2. “thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church. . .” The Profiteers of Protestantism use “rock babble” to confuse this passage. The only truth they recognize is that they must avoid the fact that Jesus always told the truth.

3. “and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Protestants are forced to think that Errors of Doctrine have crept into The Church. Once again, Protestants think Jesus Christ was wrong. They believe “the gates of hell” have prevailed. What an insult to Jesus! They are calling Jesus a “liar”!

4. “I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.” No Protestant can admit: Jesus left one set of “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” on earth. Protestants cannot admit the simple truth: Jesus left the only “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” to the Only Church that has been led by Successors to Peter for 2,000 years!

Why do The Profiteers of Protestantism willfully lead their donors to disobey The Only Church-Founding Decree of Jesus?

That’s how they make a living!

Catholics must pray that all of us may understand why self-serving men confuse the words of Jesus. We pray that Protestants, and ourselves, will not allow earthly concerns to be more important than what will happen to our immortal souls at Judgment.

We pray that all of us will be among “You are My friends if you obey My commands.” when we stand before Him at Judgment.
