Catholics try to stay on “The straight line to God.”

God is Always at the other end of a straight line.  The straight line leads directly from our soul to Him.  Catholics try to stay on “The straight line to God.”  At every point in our life, we are on “The straight line to God”.

If we stay on “The straight line to God.” we get into Heaven.

But, we don’t stay on “The straight line to God”!   We get “off-line” every time we let temptations lead us to disobey Him.  Disobedience takes three forms.

1.  Thoughts.

2.  Words.

3.  Deeds.

~

All willfully disobedient Thoughts are the same!   “I want something on earth so much that it is right for Me to disobey God.”

Disobedient Words are spoken to lead others to think Disobedient Thoughts.  “I have decided to disobey God.  You should join Me in My Disobedience to Him.”

~

Disobedient Thoughts and Words take form in Deeds.  Some take money.  Some take Chastity.   Some take life.

The worst Thoughts and Words lead to Deeds that cause the greatest loss to others.  Those Deeds steal souls from the eternal joy of Heaven.

~

Jesus did tell us of The Only Souls He would allow into Heaven. “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”

The worst people on earth twist that truth!  They serve this pride:

“Jesus has to let Me into Heaven.  If you do what I say, Jesus has to let You into Heaven, too.”

There are worldly sins in business and in politics.  The worst sins are religious.  The loss of a soul is eternal.  Those who serve themselves by stealing souls from Jesus commit the greatest crime on earth.

~

No matter where each of us is, one thing remains.

There is always a straight line between us and God.

A straight line is always “The shortest distance between two points.”  We may get on “the straight line to God” until the time our soul leaves our body.

~

Catholics stay on “the straight line to God” by obeying The Church-Founding Word of Jesus.

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”
