. Some people love their pigs (ideas?) more than their souls!
Mt. 8:28-34 tells us about people who loved their pigs more than their own souls!
“When Jesus came to the territory of the Gadarenes, two demoniacs (demon-possessed men) who were coming from the tombs met him. They were so savage that no one could travel by that road.”
They lived among the dead, and did not want to deal with the living Jesus Christ!
“They cried out, “What have you to do with us, Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the appointed time?”
Question 1: “Do evil spirits recognize and fear Jesus Christ?”
Answer: “Yes!”

“Some distance away a herd of many swine was feeding. The demons pleaded with him, “If you drive us out, send us into the herd of swine.”
Question 2: “Do evil spirits know that it is better to live in the brains of pigs than be sent to hell?”
Answer: “Yes!”

“And He said to them, “Go then!” They came out and entered the swine, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea where they drowned.”
Question 3: “How many demons can live in a person’s brain?
Answer: “Mark 5:13 tells ‘2,000 pigs’ were possessed by that many evil spirits living inside the brains of two demon-possessed men.”

Question 4: “How many evil spirits who contradict Every Teaching of Jesus Christ could be living in my brain?”
Answer: “Can I do simple arithmetic and divide 2,000 by 2?”

We see what happened! “The swineherds ran away, and when they came to the town they reported everything, including what had happened to the demoniacs.”
Question 5: “Did Jesus do That Miracle in front of actual witnesses?”
Answer: “Yes!”

What did the people do when they saw and heard what happened to their precious pigs? “Thereupon the whole town came out to meet Jesus, and when they saw Him they begged Him to leave their district.”
Question 6: “Did those people love their pigs more than God?”
Answer: “Yes!”

Question 7: “Are the ‘demons’ symbols for the self-serving ideas I love to have living in my brain?”
Answer: “Many people do not want eternal Teachings of Jesus to help them think clearly about that!”
