The Vanity of the Schismatics.

Pity the poor schismatics. Today’s Reading from John 15: 9-11 is yet another of His commandments that schismatics choose to disobey. Once more time, in yet another passage, He Who fulfilled the ancient prophecies reminds us that He repeatedly orders us to keep His simple instruction: “keep My commandments”.

“Jesus said to his disciples: ‘As the Father loves me, so I also love you. Remain in my love. If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in His love. I have told you this so that My joy might be in you and your joy might be complete’.”

One of His commandments is His frank, direct order from John: 6: 53. “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.” Some minds are crippled by: The Vanity of the Schismatics. That vanity keeps their spirits from making the connection between that particular commandment of His and realizing that the only place His Body and Blood can be found is in Catholic Communion.

That death-dealing vanity is the enemy of all that is good and decent, separating souls from He Who died to bring life. That vanity hastens death, in this life and the next. We can sense that death lurking in the minds of those in schisms. It is a living corruption of that vital connection between our spirit, soul, and the obedience necessary to be saved.

Belief is not enough. One who only believes is a person with one leg. Obedience is our second leg.

If we do not believe and obey all His commandments, including “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.” what can we reasonably expect? Joyless death, in this life and the next.

The Vanity of the Schismatics. Nothing on earth is more destructive. The Vanity of the Schismatics. Cause of every evil.
