Every Catholic has a Mission! 29.

What is one of the silliest things some Protestants do?

They use this passage from Mk 3:31-35 to justify avoiding consideration of Mary’s Perpetual Virginity!

“The mother of Jesus and His brothers arrived at the house. Standing outside, they sent word to Jesus and called Him. A crowd seated around him told Him, ‘Your Mother and your brothers and your sisters are outside asking for You.’”

Many Protestants use that passage to justify believing that Mary had more children. Catholics know! They were speaking in the Aramaic language. In that language, the word for “brothers” and “sisters” is the same word used to describe “cousins”.

Catholics understand the linguistic truth! Mary and some of the cousins of Jesus were “asking for” Him. We explain that to our Protestant neighbors. Some understand.

Jesus replied with a profound question!

“But He said to them in reply, ‘Who are My Mother and my brothers?'” Every intelligent person wants to know the answer to that! Jesus tells each of us if we are among them!

“And looking around at those seated in the circle he said, ‘Here are my mother and my brothers. For whoever does the will of God is My brother and sister and mother.”

Catholics are “seated in the circle”! We are “seated” in The Only Church Jesus Christ Spoke Into Being with His Holy Word!

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

We are in His “circle”! We obeyed “the will of God”!

Every Catholic prays! “May our beloved neighbors be blessed to find their way into the ‘circle’. May all choose to be in The Only Church Founded by He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies!”

What happens to souls who willfully and knowingly choose to live and die outside His “circle”? Matthew 13:31-42 tells us!

“His angels shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
