God’s “Prophets” are an important link to “us” in The Catholic Connection. #27.

May all be blessed to Trust in Jesus so much that we make “The Catholic Connection” and get “the greatest gift” there is!

~

Question 1: “Does The Bible tell us what kind of person will make ‘The Catholic Connection‘?”

Answer:  “Daniel 9:4-10 tells us one kind of person is able to make ‘The Catholic Connection:  ‘God > Abraham > Moses > The Prophets > Jesus > His Catholic Church > us.’, Those people take these words to heart:

‘Lord, great and awesome God, You Who keep your merciful covenant toward those who love You and observe Your commandments!  We have sinned, been wicked and done evil;
we have rebelled and departed from your commandments and your laws.’

~

Question 2:  “Why are those kind of people different?”

Answer:  “They make this plea to God:  ‘Lord, do not deal with us according to our sins.  Remember not against us the iniquities of the past;  may Your compassion quickly come to us, for we are brought very low.’

~

Question 3:  “How do people who make ‘The Catholic Connection’ spend their lives?”

Answer:  “They live by This Teaching from John 6:63:  ‘Your words, Lord, are Spirit and life;  You have the words of everlasting life.’

~

Question 4:  “What is His Word of ‘everlasting life’?”

Answer:  “We can only find ‘everlasting life’ if we get these ‘keys’!  ‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’

~

Question 5:  “Did Jesus tell us how to get those ‘keys’ and have ‘everlasting life’?”

Answer:  Jesus gave us five ‘commands’ in Luke 6: 36-38:  ‘Jesus said to His disciples:

1.  ‘Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.

2. ‘Stop judging and you will not be judged.

3. ‘Stop condemning and you will not be condemned.

4. ‘Forgive and you will be forgiven.

5. ‘Give and gifts will be given to you;  a good measure, packed together, shaken down, and overflowing, will be poured into your lap.

6.  ‘For the measure with which you measure will in return be measured out to you.’

~

May all be blessed to ‘measure up’ so that we will spend eternity in the eternal joy of those who obey Jesus, be Catholic, and get “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven”.

Catholcs are grateful to make “The Catholic Connection:  ‘God > Abraham > Moses > The Prophets > Jesus > His Catholic Church > us.”
