History set the stage for Jesus.

History set The Stage for Jesus.  God used Cyrus, Xerxes, and Darius to join many lands and peoples into a fragile Empire.

Then, Philip of Macedon was chosen to become a tool of God.  Greece, had been divided into warring states, kingdoms, and empires.  Philip forged them into one empire:

Then, God marched Alexander into The Big Movie.  He joined His father’s possessions with the Empire he took from Darius.  Alexander’s Empire was huge!

While Alexander was unifying the East, God guided Rome to utterly destroy the Canaanite religions of Phoenicia and Carthage.

Then, God made Julius Caesar into a great star.  His Legions hammered nations from Spain to the Euphrates into one Empire.  His Successor, Caesar Augustus, continued the consolidation.

History set the stage for Jesus.  By the time Jesus Decreed The Only Church He Founded Into Being, God had made the entire Mediterranean Sea into a Roman Lake.

Near the peak of The Roman Empire, The Prophesied Messiah came to Bethlehem.  He Founded One Church when He Decreed to one man, one time:

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

All the conquering heroes of The Big Movie had played their parts.  History set the stage for Jesus. In a few hundred years, The Only Church Jesus Founded had gone beyond Alexander and the Caesars.

The ancient gods, the demons who ruled before Jesus, were driven underground.  The Only Church Jesus Founded provided obedient Catholics the only “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” that Jesus left on earth.

History set the stage for Jesus.  For two thousand years, The Successors of Peter have been the Vicars of Christ on Earth.  From Cyrus to Darius to Philip to Alexander to Caesar to Augustus, only one Throne has lasted, providing unchanging Doctrine in The Faith Handed Down From The Apostles.

It’s enough to make an intelligent person ask:  “History set the stage for Jesus.  Why would I let anything on earth keep me from being in The Only Church He Founded?”
