Catholics follow St. Paul’s advice to “work out your salvation with fear and trembling.”  Many Protestants don’t want to be bothered.  “You just tell Jesus that you believe in Him and He has to let you into Heaven!”  When that simple-mindedness is intentional, we begin to see what sort of Protestant cannot be saved.

Protestant oversimplifications abound!  “We can’t have the fools believing that Jesus was serious when He and His First Catholic Bishops said twenty times, “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”!   Tell ’em, “We’ve eliminated all that mumbo-jumbo.  Have some grape juice!”   Those involved in such distortions indicate what sort of Protestant cannot be saved.

What sort of Protestant cannot be saved?  One who keeps people from having their sins forgiven by those Ordained By Jesus:  “Those whose sins you forgive on earth are forgiven in Heaven.

What of those who willfully replace His teaching with the simple-minded “Just tell God to forgive you and He will!”?  They are among those of whom He said “It would be better to have a millstone tied around your neck and be thrown into the sea than to lead a little one of mine astray.”  It’s easy to see what sort of Protestant cannot be saved.

Honest Protestants do not fear to face this question about what sort of Protestant cannot be saved.

“Can those who knowingly support any denomination that does not condemn abortion-inducing birth control pills, devices, and implants help but be among the ‘fornicators and murderers’ with which Revelation concludes in its description of the damned?”

Those blessed with a love of God, neighbor, and truth understand that only The Catholic Church has stood for protecting life from conception until natural death.

Those who consider Catholic obedience realize more of what Jesus meant when He said:  “Verily, verily I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”
