Catholics see the hidden foundation-stone of Protestantism.  Vanity drives many men to believe:

“Jesus is not that much better than me.  Those Catholic Saints are not that much better than me I will get into Heaven because I am a good person.”

A variation of that vanity drives many women to believe: “Mary is not that much better than me!  God has to let me into Heaven.”

Catholics are stunned when we see the hidden foundation-stone of Protestantism!  “How can anyone think they know more than Jesus?  How can anyone think they are as good and holy as the only woman to whom God ever said “Hail (Mary), full of grace. . .”?

Catholics know that tiny demons of pride swarm through our mind.  They all tell us the same thing:  “You are a good person!  Jesus wants you to be you!  If you think you are a good person, Jesus wants you in Heaven!”

Pride drives all of Protestantism to disrespect The Only Church Jesus Founded.  Protestantism shares one belief.  All of Protestantism believes that Jesus was wrong to Decree to one man, one time:

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

It insults God to willfully ignore Him.  Protestantism doesn’t care!  “I don’t care what Jesus said!  I want to be me!  I will do as I please and be welcomed into Heaven with His open arms!”

What did Jesus say?  He told us what will happen to all who willfully refuse to obey Him:

John 3:36: “He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not OBEY the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God rests upon him.”

Protestantism ignores He Whom they insist they worship.  How wise is that?
